Five years ago we decided to move back to the area and build a house in a brand new neighborhood. We were excited when we purchased the lot, one of the first in the development, and thrilled at the thought of owning our first home. We carefully designed the home to be ours, and through the windows of 28 Haywood Lane, we watched the neighborhood come to life. We have enjoyed the block parties, play dates with our two young children, and even winter pond skating. We have had five wonderful years in our home, making big improvements such as finishing the basement, clearing and sodding the backyard, and adding the trex deck. The layout has allowed us to shift rooms around to fit our needs, even during COVID when we were all working from home. The dining room was once a playroom, with a table in the kitchen area. The office and various spaces throughout the house have given us plenty of flexibility to both comfortably work and learn from home. When Van Rensselaer Square came to North Greenbush, we got all the convenience we could imagine with the supermarket, restaurants, specialty stores, and more just a 3 minute drive down the street. In addition, we’re just minutes to downtown Albany and Troy. We will leave many memories behind in this house, and we hope you come to love it just as much as we have. The Boudreau Family |
